This years' prize was awarded to three groundbreaking and courageous women.
Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman.
The first two women are from war-torn Liberia in Africa.
And the third woman is from Yemen where there is civil and political strife right now.
We are very proud of these women for their courageous work towards women's rights and peace. It is people like these who change the world for the better.
