The world's leaders descended on South
Africa today for Mandela's memorial. The irony?
It was revealed this weekend that
Mandela was a communist, and a communist leader. Nations and leaders that
demonise communism have unknowingly been worshipping what is now one of the
most famous communist leaders ever. Mandela is epic even death.

It was fitting to have the President of
Cuba, Raul Castro, speak at Mandela’s memorial service. The ties between the
anti-Apartheid Struggle and Cuba were acknowledged by both programme directors (who
are both African National Congress leaders) who thanked the island nation for
their contributions towards liberating South Africa from Apartheid.
