The second season of Big Brother South Africa (Mzansi), of BBM, has come and gone, with the live finale this past Sunday. Congratulations to the winners, Ace and Ntombi who walked away with R2 million rand after 58 days in the house.
But the couple that stood out to us and millions of others across the country were Blue and K2 aka The Royal Couple. They are representative of a new generation of South Africans who are hard-working and ambitious. K2 can arguably be called the master-mind of the BBM2 game. Blue was able to keep her dignity and focus through the season, despite the numerous attacks by other participants and from some audience members. They came second-place, but we are certain this experience has created a platform for them that would do much more than money can. They have won the hearts of many people and many opportunities will open up to them to create lasting careers and reputations in the careers of their choice.
Blue is a professional model and public relations professional.
K2 is an aspiring and talented rapper.
