Award winning, legendary artist, Whitney Houston dies at 48.
She was found dead on Saturday, 11 February, in her hotel room in Beverly Hills where she was to attend a party for Clive Davis, the man who is much credited for her success.
At this time investigations are being done into the cause of death.
It is a sad time, but not a complete shock. After coming clean on the Oprah Winfrey Show Whitney began displaying weird behaviour and fans at her many concerts around the world were not happy with her performances.
The sad thing is that most of us grew up hearing Whitney's music. She had a great talent that few others are blessed with, and it was wasted before it could reach its full potential.
And it is always sad to see a life end before its time and in circumstances that could have been avoided.
