This Sunday, two winners of Big Brother Amplified will be announced, bringing Season 6 of the hit reality show to an end.
It is pretty obvious by now who Melodi is supporting.
Nigeria's Karen Igho.
While some viewers have based their favourites on which African country the contestants are from, we have fallen madly in love with Karen and her personality.
She has made us laugh, cry, anxious, and excited amongst a whole range of other emotions.
She is entertaining, authentic, wise, humble and has a strong moral character.
Very rarely does one meet such a person.
Of course we are going to be sad to see Karen leave our t.v. screens on Sunday, but we are sure her career is going to flourish as she is already a household name.
And when she wins (fingers-crossed) it will hopefully be a lesson to us all. The other housemates who are still in the house have been spending all their time, for a few weeks now, trying to show Karen up and make her look like a bad person. It became so bad that Karen ended up sobbing during a drunken moment and wanted to leave the show early. Fortunately, the show-staff gave her some private space to calm down and sleep it off.
And unfortunately for the other contestants, they have wasted this opportunity. It would have been better to showcase their talents and good characterists but it seems they have been infected by the PHD Syndrome (Pull-Her-Down). Their behaviour teaches us, the viewers, that even if you see someone is better than you some in ways, it is better to spend energy trying to better yourself than to be vicious to that person, just sayin'.
And the sad thing is that Karen has no clue how she is adored by people on the outside! What a pleasant surprise it will be for her when she comes out!
Voting lines close at 6am CAT this Sunday, and the winners will be announced during the Finale Show on Sunday evening.
