Tomorrow, 18th May 2011, South Africans take to the polls in our local government elections.
And though many South Africans are miserable with government service delivery failures, this is also a time for us to appreciate the fact that we have the right to go to our voting stations and influence the future of our country in a free and fair election. Not too long ago we would have to join a banned freedom struggle in order to fight for what we now take for granted.
So, don't think of tomorrow as a day-off. It is a day to go to work for your country by casting your vote.
