The Cape Town Jazz Festival dates are 25th - 26th March 2011.
One of the headline acts (amongs many other great musicians) is Esperanza Spalding who just won a Grammy for best new artist (beating Justin Bieber!).
For people who can't afford tickets, there is a free community concert today (23 March) featuring South Africa's very own Gang of Instrumentals. This band cannot even be described, other than to say they are a mix of several musical sounds. But they always have crowds on their feet.
So if you can make it to the festival this year, GO!!!!! It is going to be tough for them to get this kind of line-up again in future festivals.
